My name is Joke Hooft. I was born in The Hague (The Netherlands) on July 20, 1942. Since I bought a watercolor from the Utrecht artist Wim Hagemans in 1985, I have developed a passion for making watercolors myself. I received my first lessons from the painter Mol. Together with a group of painters in the neighbourhood we organize mutual visits where we each study a single subject. We also organize painting trips to different parts of the country.
