• Dutch, Born in Utrecht (June 25th, 1967)
• Background: Crystal and Structural chemistry (PhD thesis A Computer-Simulation Study of the Correlation between Molecular Conformation and Sweet Taste [ISBN 90-393-0266-9] Utrecht, 1993). Modelling of TGS
• Previous position: PostDoc at the EMBL (Heidelberg, Germany), in the group of Gert Vriend who is now leading the CMBI institute in Nijmegen, The Netherlands.
• Project during that PostDoc Contract: Adding new verification tools for protein structures to the WHAT IF program, and storing the results in the PDBREPORT database.
• Current position: Research manager and software engineer at Bruker AXS BV, Delft, The Netherlands.
• Current project: Developing application software.
